Because we strive to offer the most pleasant camping experience for all, the following campground policies apply to everyone.
We thank you for your cooperation and hope you enjoy your stay!
Registration, Gate Cards & Window Cards
All campers must stop at the Office to register upon arrival. We reserve the right to check identification at any time. You will need to obtain a Security Gate Card during registration upon arrival; a $20.00 deposit is required. All Gate Cards are
to be returned at the end of your stay or you will lose your $20.00
All vehicles must have a Gate Card and a Window Card. Window cards must be prominently displayed in the driver's side front window at all times. Vehicle Make, Model and License Plate Number are required during
These Gate Cards and Window Cards are non-transferable. Abuse of Gate Cards will not be tolerated. Your Gate Card will be de-activated without notice. Do not distribute your Gate
Card to anyone else.
For those on any given site for an extended stay, the site must be occupied by a registered person. Example: The trailer stays on the site, but one family stays for one block of time then is replaced by another family staying for the next block of time. As stated previously... All campers must stop at the Office to register upon arrival. All vehicles must have a Gate Card and a Window Card. These Gate Cards and Window Cards are non-transferable.
There are a maximum of 6 people allowed per site. Parking of boats will only be allowed on your own site, additional parking is not available. You must be at least 21 years old to register for a camp site. Sorry, we do not offer currency exchange.
Walk-ins are welcome; walk-in customers pay in full upon arrival. Please note that as part of our Online Reservation System, we will choose a camp site for you based on occupancy. You may also need to change camp sites when extending your stay.
Who is our Online Reservation System for? Because we don't offer Refunds, our Online Reservation System is for those who know exactly when their arrival and departure dates are. If you're not absolutely sure you want to make a reservation, we usually have walk-in availability. You're welcome to call and check on availability as your arrival date approaches.
Be sure to read our Reservations Policies in their entirety before submitting your Reservation.
Please note that we will not take reservations over the phone or through e-mail. All reservations must be completed electronically through our Online Reservation System. If you need assistance with sending your Reservation Deposit, please read our [CART HELP] page for step-by-step directions.
For those with Reservations: the Reservation
Deposit is to hold your site; the Balance of your Reservation is Due Upon Arrival. Please note that we will not take modifications or cancellations over the phone. ALL modifications and cancellations must be sent through e-mail.
For walk-in or in-person reservations, the Reservation Deposit Form is to be completed and is submitted in the order it is received.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Online Reservation System is human-powered. Your credit card will NOT be charged automatically when entered into the cart. Your credit card is charged once we verify we have the availability for you.
Each family should submit their own Reservation Deposit. If you wish to have a camp site
near another family, simply reference the other family in the comments section of your own Reservation Deposit. One Reservation Deposit per site.
We will do our best to fulfill your preferred sites, but if a specific site is not available, we reserve the right to assign an alternate site. Our Online Reservation System does not guarantee that you’ll get exactly which camp site you want, however it does guarantee that you'll get the type of camp site requested, as in Tent, Electric, etc.
HOW OUR ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM WORKS:
STEP 1: Reservation Deposit. You send us your Reservation Deposit for specific dates, and for a specific type of camp site.
STEP 2: Reservation Confirmation. You
will receive a confirmation e-mail from us within 72 hours.
If 72 hours has elapsed and you have not
heard back from us in response to your Reservation Deposit,
it is your responsibility to contact us for verification (some
e-mail responses are returned due to electronic errors beyond
our control or filtering/blocking software).
What amount of a Reservation Deposit is required? For Reservations up to 3 Nights, a 1 Night Deposit is required. For Reservations greater than 3 Nights, a Deposit of at least half is required. For example:
6 Night Reservations require a 3 Night Deposit
7 Night Reservations require a 4 Night Deposit
11 Night Reservations require a 6 Night Deposit
You may send the full amount of your stay as the Reservation Deposit, however, you are still required to register upon arrival.
Nightly Charge for Extra Adults, Extra Children and/or Extra Vehicles must be included in Reservation Deposit. Please enter the amount of Extra Adults, Extra Children and/or Extra Vehicles multiplied by the Amount of Nights you are sending as a Reservation Deposit (2 Adults, 2 Children and 1 Vehicle are included in the cost of each site). For example:
2 Extra Children for 3 Nights, enter "6" into the Qty box to the right of Extra Children
1 Extra Adult for 4 Nights, enter "4" into the Qty box to the right of Extra Adults
When entering "Amount of Nights Paid with your Reservation Deposit", please enter only the amount of Nights being paid in advance of your arrival. (Example: You added 3 Nights to your cart, but are reserving 6 Nights - please enter "3"). This helps us determine if you are sending the minimum deposit required or are paying in full. The Arrival and Departure Dates determine the entire length of stay.
When choosing a Double Site: the same dates must be requested by both parties. For example, if one party requests Site # 64 for 5 nights, the other party must request Site # 64A for 5 nights as well. As always, each family should submit their own Reservation Deposit and simply reference the other family in the comments section.
If reservations are during the July 4th or Labor Day
Holiday Weekends, there is a 2 Night Minimum and 2 Night Deposit
required. We reserve the right to adjust this policy as
necessary. Back half of the campground
is closed until May 23rd AND Bath House #5 is closed until June
13th - Back half of the campground is closed after September
19th (beyond Site # 51A & 64A).
We encourage you to fax your up-to-date pet vaccination papers. Pet vaccination papers can be faxed to (207)967-2912 - please include your Order #, Name and Arrival Date so we can attach them to your Reservation paperwork.
Failure to arrive on first night of reservation will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeit of deposit. Sorry, no refunds.
All visitors must check in and out with the office. Each visitor is required to place a $20.00 deposit on a Gate Card in order to gain entry into the campground when they register at the office. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Ignoring these policies will result in your guests being asked to leave the premises immediately.

It is your responsibility to notify the office if you have any pets. Up-to-date pet vaccination papers must be present during registration.
