Because we strive to offer the most pleasant camping experience for all, the following campground policies apply to everyone.
We thank you for your cooperation and hope you enjoy your stay!

Registration, Gate Cards & Window Cards

All campers must stop at the Office to register upon arrival. You will need to obtain a Security Gate Card during registration upon arrival; a $20.00 deposit is required. All Gate Cards are to be returned at the end of your stay or you will lose your $20.00 deposit.

All vehicles must have a Gate Card and a Window Card. Window cards must be prominently displayed in the driver's side front window at all times. Vehicle Make, Model and License Plate Number are required during registration.

These Gate Cards and Window Cards are non-transferable. Abuse of Gate Cards will not be tolerated. Your Gate Card will be de-activated without notice. Do not distribute your Gate Card to anyone else.

There are a maximum of 6 people allowed per site. Parking of boats will only be allowed on your own site, additional parking is not available. You must be at least 21 years old to register for a camp site. Sorry, we do not offer currency exchange.

Reservations

Walk-ins are welcome; walk-in customers pay in full upon arrival. Please note that as part of our Online Reservation System, we will choose a camp site for you based on occupancy. You may also need to change camp sites when extending your stay.

Who is our Online Reservation System for? Because we don't offer Refunds, our Online Reservation System is for those who know exactly when their arrival and departure dates are. If you're not absolutely sure you want to make a reservation, we usually have walk-in availability. You're welcome to call and check on availability as your arrival date approaches.

Our 2012 Online Reservation System will be available in April. Please check again in April 2012.

Visitors

All visitors must check in and out with the office. Each visitor is required to place a $20.00 deposit on a Gate Card in order to gain entry into the campground when they register at the office. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Ignoring these policies will result in your guests being asked to leave the premises immediately.

Overnight Guests: $13.00 per Night per Adult plus 7% Sales Tax.

Day Guests: $5.00 per Day or Partial Day per Adult plus 7% Sales Tax.
Check-Out time for all Day Guests is 9:00 P.M.

No Refunds

Whether you're a walk-in customer or had reservations, we apologize but we are not able to offer refunds for the reasons of illness, emergency, inclement weather or any other circumstance beyond our control.

Pets

It is your responsibility to notify the office if you have any pets. Up-to-date pet vaccination papers must be present during registration. Due to unfortunate events involving pets in previous seasons, we considered not allowing pets at all. However, as pet owners we realize that they are a part of the family.

Pets are welcome provided: Pets must be on 6-foot or shorter leash at all times, are not to be left unattended, and must be kept inside at night. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or in any buildings in the campground. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pets immediately, and you are responsible for any damage they may cause. Maximum of 2 pets allowed per site.

Aggressive behavior, barking or generally disruptive dogs will not be tolerated. Dog pens are not allowed. Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Ignoring these policies will result in us asking for your pets to be removed from the premises immediately. Local kennels are available nearby. Please help us stay a pet friendly campground.

Quiet Time: 10:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M.

In keeping with local ordinances our quiet time is now 10:00 P.M., and all fires are out at 11:00 P.M. No fires or group gatherings after 11:00 P.M.  Please be mindful that you have neighbors in close proximity. All children should be back on their own site by 9:00 P.M.

Salty Acres has always been a family friendly campground and we would like to ensure that loud parties and disrespectful behavior do not occur on our premises. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, however drunkenness or loud and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
