Campground Policies
Because we strive to offer the most pleasant camping experience for all, the following campground policies apply to everyone. We thank you for your cooperation and hope you enjoy your stay!
Registration, Gate Cards & Window Cards
You will need to obtain a Security Gate Card during registration
upon arrival; a $20.00 deposit is required. All Gate Cards are
to be returned at the end of your stay or you will lose your $20.00
deposit. All vehicles must have a Gate Card and a Window Card.
Vehicle Make, Model and License Plate Number are required during
registration. These Gate Cards and Window Cards are non-transferable.
There are a maximum of 6 people allowed per site. You must be at least 21 years old to register for a camp site. Sorry, we do not offer currency exchange.
Reservations
Walk-ins are welcome; walk-in customers pay in full upon arrival. Please note that as part of our new reservation system, we will choose a camp site for you based on occupancy. You may also need to change camp sites when extending your stay.
For those with reservations, the one night deposit is to hold your site; all taxes and any additional charges will be added to your total, and the balance of your requested reservation is due upon arrival. Each family should fill out their own Request Form and Reservation Deposit. If you wish to have a camp site near another family, simply reference the other family in the comments section of your own Request Form.
This does not guarantee that you’ll get exactly which camp site you want, however we will do our best. If a specific site is requested and is not available, we reserve the right to assign an alternate site.
Please note that we will not take reservations over the phone or through e-mail. All reservations must be completed electronically through our online reservation system located on our Contact Info page.
Failure to arrive on first night of reservation will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeit of deposit. Sorry, no refunds.
Visitors
All visitors must check in and out with the office. Each visitor is required to place a $20.00 deposit on a Gate Card in order to gain entry into the campground when they register at the office. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Ignoring these policies will result in your guests being asked to leave the premises immediately.
Overnight Guests: $10.00 per Night per Adult plus 7% Sales Tax.
Day Guests: $5.00 per Day or Partial Day per Adult plus 7% Sales Tax.
Check-Out time for all Day Guests is 9:00 P.M.
No Refunds
Whether you're a walk-in customer or had reservations, we apologize but we are not able to offer refunds for the reasons of illness, emergency, inclement weather or any other circumstance beyond our control.
Pets
Due to unfortunate events last season involving pets, we considered not allowing pets at all. However, as pet owners we realize that they are a part of the family. Up-to-date pet vaccination papers must be present during registration.
Pets are welcome provided: Pets must be on leashes at all times and are not to be left unattended. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or in any buildings in the campground. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pets immediately, and you are responsible for any damage they may cause. Aggressive behavior, barking or generally disruptive dogs will not be tolerated. Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Ignoring these policies will result in us asking for your pets to be removed from the premises immediately. Local kennels are available nearby.
Quiet Time
In keeping with local ordinances our quiet time is now 10:00 P.M., and all fires are out at 11:00 P.M. No fires or group gatherings after 11:00 P.M. All children should be back on their own site by 9:00 P.M.
Salty Acres has always been a family friendly campground and we would like to ensure that loud parties and disrespectful behavior do not occur on our premises.

As a courtesy to others, as well as for health and safety, please maintain a clean and attractive site by removing trash in a timely manner. Keep in mind that the dumpsters are for household trash only. Any dumping of TVs, tires, grills, mattresses, furniture or appliances, etc. is strictly prohibited.
